Many people say it’s a must-see city. People crave about the endless museums, rich history, cool bars, and incredible food. The atmosphere seems vibrant and the people are well-dressed, adding to the charm. A big part of the experience is definitely knowing some French, which helps a lot, but people seem friendly and many speak English. I was initially staying here for a week and I found it... expensive, but as I stayed more I learned that there is a way to find affordable places to eat if you look a bit outside the main tourist spots. Just be aware that while the city can be pricey, once you settle in, it's possible to enjoy it without breaking the bank. Also, the internet is super fast, which is a nice bonus. It was not my taste 100%, but i still would say it's a must-see city once in your life.

I spent a few months living in Paris as a digital nomad, and overall, it was a mix of amazing experiences and a few challenges. I felt mostly safe, though I was extra cautious in crowded areas like the metro and tourist spots because of pickpockets. Walking around at night in well-lit neighborhoods felt fine, but some areas like around Gare du Nord were a bit sketchy. The internet in Paris is... great. My Airbnb had fast Wi-Fi, and coworking spaces had even better connections. Cafes are also good for working, though not all have strong Wi-Fi, so I stuck to known spots. The food is great. From fresh croissants to Michelin-starred restaurants, everything tastes amazing. Eating out can get expensive, but there are plenty of affordable bakeries and markets where you can grab something delicious. There are lots of coworking spaces in Paris, but they can be pricey. I tried a few like Anticafé Station F and WeWork, and they were perfect for productivity with good vibes and fast internet. There’s also a big variety, so you can find one that fits your budget. Paris has endless things to do if you are into culture and history. I spent weekends exploring museums, taking walks along the Seine, and enjoying live music. There are art classes, yoga studios, and even outdoor activities in the parks. You’ll never be bored here. Luckily, I didn’t stay long enough to deal with French taxes. But I know they can be very high if you stay long-term and qualify as a tax resident, so it’s something to plan for if you’re thinking of staying longer. Paris is a dream destination for digital nomads who love culture, history, and amazing food. It’s not cheap, and taxes can be a concern, but the beauty and energy of the city make it worth it. I’d recommend it for shorter stays or if you’re okay with a higher budget.

I saw many runners here. Resting in a peaceful park and enjoying like a local is a better option than going to a touristy spots where there are millions of tourists
