Hyderabad is a lively city that blends modern life with traditions. It is known as a tech center, attracting many workers and companies, which creates a busy job market and good opportunities. The cost of living in the city is often seen as reasonable compared to other major Indian cities, making it easier for people to enjoy city life without spending too much. Culturally, Hyderabad has a lot to offer. You can find tasty dishes like biryani and popular street food, along with historic sites like the Charminar and Golconda Fort. However, getting around on public transport can be difficult—traffic can be heavy, and the bus system may be confusing. English is commonly spoken, but learning a few local phrases can help you communicate better. Safety is usually good, but, like any big city, it's smart to be aware of your surroundings. Explore the local customs and enjoy what Hyderabad has to offer!

As a tech worker myself, Hyderabad is an amazing place. The Indian cuisines (biryani, chapati, dal, ...) are amazing and metro makes it easy to commute without having to go through the chaotic road traffic. Compared to other Southern Indian cities, I felt culturally welcoming from the locals here and the climate here is moderate as well.
