This busy city has a mix of history, culture, and a bit of disorder. Imagine walking through old streets, enjoying Turkish coffee, and taking pictures of beautiful mosques – it’s great for photographers. But, not everything is perfect. While the city has many attractions, some visitors encounter scammers, especially with taxis. It’s better to use ride apps or agree on prices before getting in a taxi to avoid problems. Public transport is usually good, so you can take a bus or tram – just expect it to be crowded. Areas like Cihangir and Kadıköy provide a nicer environment, with nice cafes and coworking spaces, especially if you’re working online. Some people say locals can be reserved, but others find friendly people, especially away from tourist areas. So, whether you want to try new food or learn about the city’s history, just stay alert, and you might really enjoy this interesting city!

Istanbul is such an interesting place, but honestly, it has both good and bad sides. Ofc the history and the culture is amazing. u will love walking around and seeing all the historical buildings and mosques. The food is delicious as well with affordable price. And as it is a big city, it can feel crowded and noisy to some people. Taxis can be a nightmare, they might try to scam you. It’s better... to use public transport or apps like Uber, but even with Uber, drivers can be tricky. Also, people don’t speak much English, so communication can be tough. Still, I think it’s worth visiting for a few days to explore the beautiful parts like Kadıköy or Besiktaş. Just don't keep your expectations too high and be realistic, then you're good to go.
