Johor Bahru, or JB as the locals call it, is a city with both good possibilities and some problems. Living here offers nice neighborhoods with affordable rents, especially in places like Leisure Farm and Bayou Creek. The food is plentiful and tasty, and there are many modern shopping centers, great for shopping. The atmosphere? It's more relaxed than its busy neighbor, Singapore. However, not everything is perfect. Some new areas feel empty, and there have been issues with public transport projects. Healthcare does raise some worries, so it’s good to stay updated. While the city has its appeal, there are mixed opinions about its overall condition, especially compared to other parts of Malaysia. If you're visiting, be sure to try the local food and take your time exploring the neighborhoods. Just be careful with your health when trying new foods! Overall, JB may have its difficulties, but the friendliness of the locals and the experience is hard to miss.
