Moscow is a busy city that doesn’t sleep, and if you like culture, you will enjoy it! There are festivals, concerts, and theater shows happening almost every day, so there is always something interesting to see. Winters here are beautiful, with the city covered in snow, but be prepared for the cold! Luckily, there are many shops where you can find warm winter clothes at good prices. Getting around is easy with the cheap and efficient metro system, though the city is large—great for exploring, but plan to take your time (two activities a day is a good plan). You'll find the locals friendly, but they might seem a bit shy at first. A little help from Google Translate will help since many older people don’t speak English. While grocery prices are usually low, just be aware that rent can be high, especially for short stays. Also, after autumn, the air quality can get worse, which is something to think about if you are sensitive. However, with a lively nightlife and a wide range of... experiences, Moscow is an interesting place to live and visit!
