Mostar is a small town in Bosnia and Herzegovina that offers a quiet escape with some local activity. You can take a train from the capital, Sarajevo, to get there easily, and the views along the way are quite impressive. The town has a small airport, but it is not always open, so trains might be the best option. You can find affordable places to stay, including hotels, hostels, and apartments. If you like food, you will enjoy the local dishes, especially if you like red meat, but there are also plenty of tasty cheese, bread, and salad choices. The WiFi is not very good, but this gives you a chance to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Mostar has a lively nightlife, restaurants, and coffee shops. While the town is small and doesn't have a lot of attractions, it is a good starting point to explore the beautiful nature and culture nearby. In the summer, it can be quite hot, but a short drive can take you to cooler coastal areas. Overall, Mostar is a nice town to relax, enjoy nature,... and experience a slower pace of life!
