Osaka is a lively city with great food, friendly people, and a good transportation system that makes it easy to get around. Whether you enjoy street food at Dotonbori or taking part in a cherry blossom festival, there is a lot to see and do. Many visitors say that Osaka is easier to explore than Tokyo, making it a good starting point for seeing Japan. While life in Osaka is fun, be aware of the city's high costs and some cultural differences, like the strong work ethic that can feel demanding. You might face language barriers, so knowing a few Japanese phrases can help. The city is generally safe, but crowded trains can be a bit overwhelming. For those exploring the city, areas like Namba and Umeda are full of activity and great food. If you plan to stay longer, you can easily travel to South Korea for a quick visa renewal. Overall, Osaka is an interesting mix of old and new, ideal for anyone wanting to experience its rich culture.
