Imagine walking through the streets of Old San Juan, where you can see beautiful buildings that feel like they belong in Europe. The city has a lively atmosphere, with the old colonial streets of Old San Juan blending into the beach vibe of Condado, which is similar to Miami but has better sand. There is delicious local food and great coffee, so food lovers will find plenty to enjoy—even if the prices can be a bit higher than usual for Latin America. Getting around is simple because Uber is effective here, and local museums have affordable entry fees. A helpful tip: don’t be put off by the sometimes direct attitude of some locals; once you get to know them, you will see that most are friendly and welcoming to visitors! While San Juan may not have many digital nomads or a lot of waterfront restaurants, it offers stunning views and many natural attractions nearby, including the only rainforest in the U.S. Just keep in mind that the island's charm is different from Bali or Tulum—it's a... special experience on its own. Enjoy your trip!
