Sochi is a busy beach resort filled with Russian tourists, especially in the summer when many people come to enjoy the sun. If you want warmth in the colder months, it’s one of the few places in Russia that offers that. The city is easy to walk around, especially in the main areas and Adler, where you can find many shops, cafés, and, of course, nice beaches. While the busy atmosphere is a big attraction, it can get crowded during busy times, so expect a lot of people. If you enjoy winter sports, you’re in luck—just an hour away by train, there are ski resorts, making Sochi a unique place where you can have both sun and snow. Remember that the cost of living can be high, and public transportation options are limited, which might be challenging for new visitors. However, if you are looking for a mix of beach enjoyment and mountain activities, Sochi is definitely worth a visit!
