Stockholm is a city that some people like and others find difficult. Many people enjoy living here because it is clean and safe. It is a nice place to relax if you like a slow-paced life with friends, especially if you can cook at home. The public services are good, and more co-working spaces are being built. However, if you are visiting as a tourist, you might run into some problems. Places to stay can seem expensive compared to other locations, and eating out is also not cheap. The café options are okay, but you may spend a lot of money. Nightlife can be quiet during the week, but weekends can be more lively with events like pub crawls. Making friends might be difficult, and the winter weather can be wet and dark. If you plan to visit, late spring to summer is the best time to enjoy the beautiful nature around the city. Just remember to learn some Swedish if you want to read local signs! It is a city that is worth visiting, but maybe not for a long time unless you are comfortable... with the weather and culture.
