Strasbourg is a city that combines French and German cultures, making it both familiar and different. It is a place where walking along the canals can lead to an easy picnic in the Orange Park—great for relaxing after looking at the beautiful buildings. Many visitors appreciate how easy it is to walk around the city, with most places just a short 10-minute walk away. Living here has its advantages. There are many students and various neighborhoods. While the cost of living is similar to other French cities, many find that housing is slightly more expensive, especially in the city center. Public transport is simple, with trams and buses available to help you get around. Just note that the city center can be busy with tourists, so you might want to stay a bit outside for a quieter time. On the downside, some people have pointed out that there are not many good coffee shops for working, but there are a few comfortable places to sit with your laptop. Strasbourg is safe, friendly, and... has many interesting spots, making it a good place to live or visit!
