Many visitors enjoy its lively restaurant and bar scene, where you can find tasty local dishes like khachapuri and a good variety of Georgian wines. The buildings include a mix of unusual designs and Soviet-era styles that create a different atmosphere, especially in the active Old Town. However, be ready for some difficulties. Prices for hotels and food have gone up a lot, making it more expensive than some other places in Europe. Public transport can be limited, so think about taking a taxi, but remember that driving can be confusing, and taxi service may not always be the best. Safety is generally good, but it's wise to stay alert at night. The language barrier can make it hard to communicate since English is not widely spoken.
