Vilnius is a mix of history and modern life, good for young travelers and people on a budget. The city looks nice in summer with its green areas and pleasant Old Town, which is nice to walk through. You can find fast internet and some coworking spaces that make it good for digital nomads too. English is commonly spoken, so getting around is not too hard, though you may face some language issues. Local people are generally friendly, even if they are busy. It’s a good place to try some Lithuanian food, but don’t expect anything too special; it’s more of a typical Baltic city experience. Keep in mind that winters can be dark and cold, so be ready for that! While prices are lower than in many European cities, you can still find some good places worth spending on. Overall, Vilnius offers a relaxed environment that is worth visiting, just don’t expect anything too fancy!
