Warsaw is a city with many differences, mixing its rich history with modern life. You will see the Old Town next to tall buildings, creating a skyline that shows the city's story. Safety is a big advantage here; it is known as one of the safest capitals in Europe, great for evening walks, even for women alone. The cost of living is reasonable compared to Western Europe, especially for eating out and housing. However, winters can be long and cold, and it might take time to get used to the city's atmosphere. Locals are direct and honest, which some visitors may find a bit rude at first. While many people speak English, there may be times when you don’t fully understand each other, especially with cultural differences. Warsaw has a lively nightlife and a growing restaurant scene to check out – just be ready for waits at busy places! Getting around is simple with dependable public transport and many parks to relax in. If you want to experience a city that combines history with a busy... business life, Warsaw may surprise you! Just remember the cold weather and that it might take some time to find your place in this lively city.

Safety is a big plus: I felt secure walking at night. However, the country isn’t very friendly to LGBTQ+ folks, and there can be some racism. The vibe can feel brusque, but locals are helpful. Many young people speak English, and there's always something happening. Living costs are cheaper than many Western European cities, but accommodation can be high. The city lacks a strong tourism scene.... Winter can be chilly, and autumn is rainy. Architecturally, it's a mix of old and new. There are cool spots for quiet work, but libraries might not have WIFI or plugs. Internet service is reliable. Overall, Warsaw is interesting but not for everyone. Some might prefer Gdańsk or Kraków. Visiting before settling down is a good idea.
